Meet the Instructors

Tracy Marcom

Woodstock School of Ballet  |  Instructor for celebrity dancer, Rev. Jim McRae

Tracy began her dance career at an early age when her mother put her in classes as a toddler.  Her love for dance grew and she has continued to keep dance a part of life throughout adolescence and adulthood.  As a youth, she studied dance at local Atlanta Area studios, such as Tolbert-Yilmaz School of Dance, Centre Stage School of Dance, Dancer's Pointe, and Dancentre South, while performing at various events and venues and participating in dance competitions.  In college she was part of the dance program at Georgia State University, while obtaining her undergraduate degree in Mathematics with a Teaching Certification, and later earning a Masters of Arts for Teachers degree in Mathematics.  While her main career has been a teacher, and later a mother, she has managed to keep studying dance into adulthood by taking classes and performing with Rome Civic Ballet.  In 2010, Tracy obtained her group fitness certification with AAFA and holds certifications, both in Zumba® and in Zumbatomic® (Zumba® for kids). She has made a career combining dance and fitness and currently teaches dance fitness classes every week to both adults and kids, as well as teaches math at Kennesaw State University.  Tracy and her husband are the parents of seven children.
