The Service League of Cherokee County’s cookbook, “From Our Heart to Your Table: A Legacy
in Every Dish,” will be available for purchase for $20.00 (includes tax) at this year’s Riverfest
and samples of select recipes from the cookbook will be presented to festival patrons for tasting.

Cookbooks have long played a vital fundraising role throughout the history of the League. The
proceeds from this cookbook will continue to support our mission, helping us provide vital
resources where they are needed most; providing food, clothing, school supplies, medical
assistance and scholarships for the families and children of Cherokee County. “From Our Heart
to Your Table: A Legacy in Every Dish” is the sixth edition in the 90-year history of the League.
It once again captures the essence of Southern cooking through timeless cross-generational
recipes submitted by active and former members of the League.

This compilation of approximately 370 tested, tried-and-true family favorites is sure to create
traditions and lasting memories as families and friends gather around the dinner table. “From
Our Heart to Your Table: A Legacy in Every Dish” features many new recipes alongside several
classic favorites from former League cookbooks, “Gatherings & Traditions”, “Cherokee
Entertains” and “A Taste of Tradition.”

“From Our Heart to Your Table: A Legacy in Every Dish,” may be purchased at the cookbook booth at Riverfest where you can sample some of our great recipes.  You can also purchase our previous edition “Gatherings & Traditions” while supplies last.
