The Service League of Cherokee County was honored to host its annual luncheon, this year themed Pearls With Purpose, a special celebration centered on purpose, connection, and community. The event brought together active members and honorary members to reflect on a year of meaningful service and celebrate the relationships that make the League’s mission possible.
The luncheon provided an opportunity to welcome a new class of provisional members, recognize outgoing members for their dedication and contributions, and reconnect with honorary members whose continued support and commitment remain an inspiration to the organization. A highlight of the afternoon was a meaningful presentation by guest speaker Lindsey Gerdes, who shared heartfelt “pearls of wisdom” that resonated deeply with attendees. The League was also proud to recognize Elizabeth Selkey as the 2026 Member of the Year. Her servant leadership, compassionate spirit, and unwavering commitment to serving others embody the mission and values of the organization. Through her dedication, generosity, and positive influence, Elizabeth has made a lasting impact on both the League and the community it serves.
