The Service League of Cherokee County recently awarded scholarships to 12 students graduating from high schools in Cherokee County, Georgia. These scholarships are designed to help these students continue their education and achieve their goals, whether they plan to attend a four-year university or pursue a technical or vocational degree.
The recipients of these scholarships come from various high schools in the county, with four students from River Ridge High, four from Cherokee High, one from Creekview High, and three from Etowah High. Each student received a scholarship amount ranging from $1,000 to $3,500 based on need.
The recipients are River Ridge graduates, Jesse Morris, Amainosi Ekekhide, Hubert Love, and Ted Fort. From Cherokee High School, graduates Riley Oliver, Quin Costales, Andrew Solano and Lucas Cristobal were awarded scholarships. Etowah High School graduates Kennedi Campbell, Brooke Belsito, and Jose Lago received scholarships. Finally, Bailey Hancock from Creekview High School also received a scholarship.
