“The meaning of life is to find your gift. The purpose of life is to give it away.”
-WILLIAM SHAKESPEARE
The Service League of Cherokee County is a tangible way to make a difference in your local community. As a group, the League epitomizes the virtue of service. Cherokee County children benefit from league members volunteerism and fundraising efforts.
Every member commits 10 years of service to the league. Every league member commits to at least 50 hours annual service which is earned by attending league meetings, participating in league events like Riverfest, Run for the Children and Golfing for the Children, and participating in league sponsored community service projects that supports other local non-profits.
League membership is limited. Our annual membership drive takes place each winter with new members chosen in March.
The window for new member applications for 2024 has now closed. Follow us on social media and this website for updates on when applications for 2025 will be available!
